A full building survey is the most comprehensive and detailed type of survey we offer, and is typically undertaken prior to completing the purchase of your chosen property. All of our building surveys are bespoke to each property and therefore are not constrained by a set pro-forma report structure. Within a building survey we would discuss and analyse every building element and detail from foundations, walls and roofs, to drainage, joinery and heating/electrical installations (and everything in between).

The building survey report will include a selection of annotated photographs to help illustrate the identified issues.

Every surveyor in our team that undertakes building surveys is a chartered building surveyor registered with the RICS.

What is the difference between a Market Valuation and an Insurance Reinstatement Valuation?2023-08-24T11:03:46+01:00

A market valuation will provide a value which the surveyor believes the property is worth at that specific time if it were to be sold. An insurance reinstatement valuation calculates how much it would cost to rebuild the property based on current labour rates and material costs.
