Quantity Surveyors can work on behalf of contracting organisations, or as a representative for the client. This can be from the initial feasibility study through to design and maintenance to producing bills of quantities.

Within the Andrews Eades portfolio we have surveyors who are able to offer effective witness advice.
Members of our company are experienced and familiar with the procedures to be followed when dealing with a wide variety of disputes including issues which may arise around the ownership and use of buildings. These could include building disputes, dilapidations, rights of way, defective works by builders and specialist contractors.
We are able to prepare reports on both building defects and contractual disputes along with other problems that may arise.
Party Wall Matters & Boundary Disputes
The Party Wall Act provides a framework for preventing and resolving disputes in relation to party walls, boundary walls and excavations near neighbouring buildings.
Anyone proposing to carry out work covered by the Act must give adjoining owners notice of their intentions.
Party wall and boundary disputes are a common area of conflict between neighbours. There are many issues which arise regarding the line of boundary between properties and to avoid lengthy and expensive disputes we recommend you gain independent professional advice at an early stage to reduce cost.
We are able to inspect, report and then make recommendations on any specific property defect. This is usually prepared in the form of a letter report and is tailored to suit your specific needs.
